Statistics on Religion in America
I assumed based off the name it was concerning religion in general but seems to focus more around Christianity. http://www.thearda.com/quickstats/qsdir.asp
It’s sad; it seems people are believing what they hear and desire with no personal study/research. A simple example from these statistics is this; only 56.3% believes sin angers God but around 80.6% believe the Bible is either inspired by or the actual word of God. There is NO WAY anyone can read the Bible and not see that sin angers God! That is stating that 24.3% have not read the Bible but believe in Bible. That statistic is as ignorant as claiming to believe that slavery existed in America but saying they didn’t have to work against their will.
I personally feel these statics are a exact reflection of America. It shows the ignorance of the American people by being gullible enough to believe everything they hear or accepting what is easy, requiring minimal effort.
If you are going to believe something, know why you believe it!
