Knowledge is becoming your own person!: Jesus never took an offering (nor prayed for one)

“What about the others? It does not concern me, I can only be a light, the Holy Spirit is the one who convicts the hearts of men. I can only control myself by exercising the faith. I cannot exercise others faith for anyone else.”

I think I slightly disagree with the first part because as a body, we are to care about others and it says that iron sharpens iron. When I get a revelation about something, I want to share it because it can help others grow and you or others do the same on tumblr and elsewhere. We are responsible for being a light, but whether someone accepts what we say is their responsibility.

I think we basically agree on the same things.

Be blessed too! :)

It’s not that I am in disagreement with you, just expressing another point of view though its not that I disagree with you. Please understand when I say, “What about the others? It does not concern me”, doesn’t mean I do not care about them but their state can only be changed by the Holy Spirit. I can only control me and be obedient to the Holy Spirit. That is what concerns me, though the obedience in Him and the love we have in Him drives me to encourage and challenge others to grow and seek Jesus.

Where I have settled in my “teachings” is I believe that traditions, laws, sins, depressions, opressions, anger, religion, etc doesn’t matter because when we try to remove things in our lives in our own strength we will alway fail. Though when we quit worring about the garbage and distractions of the “do’s and do nots” of Christianity and shift all attention towards Jesus and growing in an intamite relationship with Him all those things will be overcame through Him. Yes there is effort on some things in fighting against attacks but is becomes easier but a lot seems to natually happen. I have come to this conclusion in my own growth in Christ and what He has brought me through.

I have to admit I struggle with sharing with everyone exactly what God is showing me, usually I get 2 responses: 1) People just look at me as if what I am saying isn’t anything special or 2) People get upset as if I am saying they are not doing it. So I have been writing most of what God has been showing me and sharing it with those I talk to. However, I have been paying attention to their responses and if they seem uninterested I just end the conversation.

Keep preaching Jesus!
