Overlooked Blessings…
This has been a wonderful 3day weekend except I have been sick, running fever and a sinus infection. I have not slept much all weekend and I am rather tired. Finally this morning I had enough, the infection had spread to my eye and almost no sleep last night. So I called my doctor and had him call in some prescriptions for me this morning. Within the hour I had picked up my prescriptions and taken my recommended doses…that’s when it hit me how blessed I was to be able to have medications so quick to my disposal! Over half the worlds population doesn’t have access to medications or the money to be able to buy them!
Another thing is, I have learned this weekend is despite not feeling well I felt I needed to pray and read more regardless of how I felt. In return I was able to find blessings in my “sickness” and I thank Jesus for drawing me closer to Him!
