something to think about…
I posted this several weeks back…but wanted to point out something God revealed to me last night.
Look at the daily income and think about this. Over 50% of the world makes around $2! If you make $20/hr…they have to work 10 DAYS to make what you make in 1 HR! I imagine these people work almost all year around so if they work 350 days a year, $700/ year! If you make $20/hr * 40hr work week you earned $800/week Gross!!! Tell me your cup is not over flowing!! Even if you split the income to $10/hr it still takes them 5 days to make what you make per hour and you 2 weeks to make what they make in a year!! Humble yourselves and understand we are already BLESSED beyond majority of the worlds imagination! Find contentment God has allows you to have and make!
I am not saying wealth is wrong but I am saying it is wrong if you heart is hardened. It is wrong if you heart tells God, I do not need you because I am wealthy and have insurance, food, shelter, water, etc(Rev 3)! It is wrong when we horde our blessings to ourselves! I would imagine most of America living better than 90%-99% of the world and I would imagine that the MAJORITY would consider all Americans Rich. Jesus said it is harder for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of the needle! Matthew 23-26…I want you to get this! Praise GOD!

In order for the Rich man or any man to make it into the Kingdom of Heaven it is going to take God changing his heart! The Rich man can do nothing but seek after Jesus, Jesus will then start opening his eyes and changing his heart! We have to get ahold of Jesus. I am no theologian or bible scholar but this is what I feel scripture speaking! With man this is impossible BUT Praise God for the “buts” with God all things are possible! Don’t be niave and believe you are okay when you are not Best Friends with Jesus! Don’t be niave that just because you go to church once a week you are saved! He wants you 7 days a week 24 hrs a day! Jesus wants us to seek HIM! So he can mold us, and shape us into the men and women of God He created us to be!

Did you know that 25% of the worlds population receives 75% of the world’s income. Which means the poorest in the world share the remaining 25%! The average world income in $5000/yr.

The poverty-line in America ranges between $10,400 (single household) to $35,600 (8 person household). For a household of 2 it is $14,000. Out of the 303 million people in America, approx 26 million live in poverty. Which even the lowest income in America is richer than average world income!
If 100 people equals the worlds population, 53 of those would live on less than $2.00/day. So if you purchase a $10 book, you spent someones week income
