journey into a life of Humility…
Jesus there are so many things in scripture that it says to do or not to do. Now in my very nature I am not able to follow or keep these commands but I am convinced that by your nature it is natural.
So since I am not able to do anything on my own then it is your nature I need you to clothe me with so that I can follow you whole heartedly and without hinderences of the commands keeping me from you!
Jesus I praise you! I praise you for the fact that in my weakness you find strength to carry me through and bring me out! In my weaknesses you still choose to use me! All praise and honor goes only to You!
God I want you to change my heart so that when I get up to read and pray that it is in excitment that you have blessed me with another morning to enter into your presence, that I get to commune with the Creator of all things! Take the sense of obligation from heart, because my prayers and reading of Your Word is for my benefit not yours! I know you long for it but I also know you do not need me but have chosen to love me and therefore the honor is truely mine! Praise Jesus, thank you for not giving up on me!
