My thoughts for the day…
Yesterday evening I was waiting for Melissa to get back on the four-wheeler so I could do some maintenance. As I was waiting I was watching the sun setting and thinking of how beautiful the sky looked. The way the reds, oranges, blues, and purples just meshed together fading behind the tree lines. It got me to thinking about the creation, the beginning.
Of course I believe in God creating everything which is hard to fathom in itself, if you really stop and think about it. Of course being an analytical person that I am, I don’t stop at the simple explanations. How complex is our world that we live that supposedly started from a BANG and a spontaneous appearance of a single cell organism that started all life as we know it!
There are about 1.4 million described species on earth. This is what we know about and we haven’t even explored half of the Congo or Amazon! Scientist are finding new species all the time.
There are over 20,000 types of trees growing around the world. There are about 375,000 species of plants around the world too!
The human body has 78 organs. Of those organs is the eye which allows us to see. Now I have never studied the eye but it is probably one of the simplest organs on the human body but an amazing creation. The eye allows us to interpret objects and shapes by processing the light they reflect/emit. It can detect bright light, dim light BUT it cannot process objects when light is absent from it! You eye has and orbit strategically surrounded by layers of fatty tissue that enable it to turn easy. Your eye has 3 pairs of extraoctular muscles that control the movement of the eye. Then you have a brain that can receive the inputted data, process it, and send reponse back for us to understand what we are seeing! You have think of everything, the heart, brain, lungs, kidneys, intestines, blatter, stomach, and liver are just some of the organs but each is vital to survival. When all work together we are healthy! The design of the human body, durability of the human skin made up of 3 different but distinct layers! The way each organ is located at the same location in each human and it all fits! Fingerprints how every human has a unique set of fingerprints. The human genome!!!
There are about 6 billion people on earth and no two the same (except for twins and they have differences).One of my favorite words to say is deoxyribonucleic acid aka DNA…but did you know that any two people have 99% of the same DNA but that 1% makes us unique! You are made of 46 bundles (chromosomes) of DNA and 1/2 comes from your mother and the other half comes from your father! I am not going to try to get deeper but think about it! Think about how humans procreate and what takes place for it to happen (not the act of but process of that we have no control of)! Your body is made up of 10 - 100 trillion cells! You thought you only saw those kinds of numbers thrown around from our politicians!
Did you know there are about 100 thousand million stars in our Milky way Galaxy. Outside of our galaxy there are millions and millions other galaxies!!! The way our solar system is aligned is a scientific phenomenon! Our planet which is the only one we know of that can sustain life is just the right distance from the sun not to burn up but not far enough to freeze us! How the earth rotates gives us night and day, our seasons etc! The polarity between planets and GRAVITY! How about the water cycle!
I don’t even want to try and come up with the chances that BANG and perfection happened to create an environment that can sustain life. Let alone the spontaneous generation of a single cell organism that evolved into such complex species that feed off of one another. The vegetation live on carbon dioxide from the air and emit oxygen into the air. We breathe its waste so to speak…but if there is too much carbon dioxide we die! There is too much out science out there to deny a Creator! There is NO WAY it just happened…I would have better odds of throwing a bunch of wood in the air in hopes it would fall perfectly together and be tied together with rope that spontaneously around it! Sounds stupid, but that is a MUCH simpler process to accept that BANG everything as we know it just happened.
To accept no Creator and believe that it just happened is insane to me! I cannot see how anyone can’t see God in all of creation! OPEN YOUR EYES AND LOOK! He is everywhere and we are so blind we miss Him every day!
